High ampacity power cables play an essential part in several industries across diverse sectors. Not surprisingly, there has always been a need in the industry for superior quality high-ampacity power cables.

Here at Varsha Cables, we manufacture reliable and rugged power cables which use either PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) or Cross Linked Poly-Ethylene (XLPE) as the di-electric. Keeping the increased demand in mind, we have expanded our range of products to cater to diverse customer needs, particularly in relation to low voltage PVC and XLPE cables.

Applications
Power cables with copper cores are used in transmission of power in power plants, within factories and other electrical installations. Flexible power cables are used for portable devices, mobile tools and machinery.

Power cables are used for bulk transmission of alternating and direct current power, especially using high-voltage cable. These cables are extensively used in building wiring for lighting, power and control circuits permanently installed in buildings.

Power cables can be further tailored to specific power applications depending on the requirements of the industry.

Conductors
The conductors are drawn from bright electrolytic grade, high conductivity solid / stranded copper or H2 / H4 grade aluminium as per IS 8130.
Insulation
The conductors are insulated with high quality PVC as per IS 5831 or XLPE insulation material as per IS 7098 Part 1.
Outer Sheath
The cables are outer sheathed with PVC & with aditional properties of FR and FRLS. Alternatively, we can also provide ZHFR / LSZH material.
Armour
GI wire / strip armour as per IS 3975 is also provided.

Our manufacturing and quality assessment procedures for PVC and XLPE cables conform to the specification IS 1554 (Part I) : 1988 and IS 7098 : 1988.

Our manufacturing and quality assessment procedures for PVC and XLPE cables conform to the specification IS 1554 (Part I) : 1988 and IS 7098 : 1988.
