Applications
Instrumentation cables are versatile and used in diverse applications. They are mainly designed for use in communication and instrumentation applications across various industries such as oil exploration, steel, power generation, cement and chemical plants.
Cables made to specific requirements are used in process controls, network monitoring and the transmission of signals to computers and control systems from remote systems to hazardous areas like in petrochemical, thermal, power, chemical plants, oil refineries, pharmaceutical companies etc.
The cables can also be used to carry low voltages, 4-20 mA frequencies alongside analogue or digital signals. Hence, they are sometimes referred to as Data cables or Signal cables. Instrumentation cables are available in the form of pairs, triad or quad construction as per requirement.
